We want to invite you to share our 6th Anniversary Celebration!
People arrived and connected with each other. We had friends from all different areas of our lives and everyone seemed to enjoy each other. We served a scumptious meal of Chopped Salad, Vegetable Flatbread, Mac & Cheese, Spicy Ahi Tuna Cruchy Rice, Upper West Sliders, Roasted Cauliflower, Pan Roasted Pittman Farms Chicken and Steak & Shrimp Tacos. And then there were 4 different types of cup cakes! And of course, 4 different types of wine, including a toast!
We began with us! We shared how happy we were to have found each other and how lovely it was to have so many lovely people with us this evening. We shared a little bit about our feelings for each other and then we introduced the entertainment.
I had my three favorite people to sing for us. Marc Bachrach, our long time cantor, sang a beautiful song about building our world with love for us in English and Hebrew. And then Steven Michael Schwartz, my dear friend for over 50 years, one of the founders of Results and for years the lead singer of Parachute Express, a world famous kids singing group that my son loved, got us singing together with “Wow!” and “Wrap Me Up In Yellow”.
Then David Pomeranz, my dear friend since 1979, who did the music for The Los Angeles World Hunger Event, and it has been my honor to produce many shows over the years for him, took the stage and sang the rousing “Trail Of Broken Dreams” a song he co-wrote with Sasha Malinen from Russia. Then he sang “You Are So Beautiful” for us! Then Davy and Stephen led us in a sing-a-long with “Stand By Me”, “What A Wonderful Works This Would Be”, “The Times They Are A-Changing”, “Wake Up Little Susie”, “Take It Easy”, “Falling”, “Dream” and “Good Love”
Then Cynthi Stefenoni and Sheri Broussard shared about our love for Anselm Rothschild, Peggi’s best friend who passed away years ago and wrote the most beautiful songs, and then led us in singing “Remember To Remember”.
And then we closed the night with our anthem, “It’s In Everyone of Us”, with everyone joining in.
Here is a slideshow, that lasts 4 minutes, to give you the full picture!
